The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is one of the few U.S. metropolitan newspapers to publish and pay for poems regularly. Each Saturday, a poem is published in the paper's editorial section. To see submission guidelines, visit The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette poetry submission page

A student-run publication sponsored by the University of Pittsburgh English Department, Collision publishes the art, poetry, fiction, and nonfiction of undergraduate students across the country.
 
Forbes & Fifth is an undergraduate interdisciplinary journal of art, fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and research. Funded by the Office of Undergraduate Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity, the student-run publication accepts submissions from undergraduate students from institutions across the country.
